This book became the first children’s piano learning guide in the Belarusian language, combining music, illustrations, and interactive elements. We worked on it for 1.5 years, striving to create a bright, engaging, and accessible resource for children and parents, as well as a truly valuable guide for teachers.

What makes this book special?
📌 An original piano teaching method in Belarusian — outstanding musicians and piano teachers Alena Kuryanovich and Nastassia Bouria adapted famous Belarusian compositions, wrote their own piano pieces based on poems by Belarusian poets, and developed engaging exercises to introduce children to music.
📌 Colorful illustrations — I created visual representations for musical pieces, exercises, and puzzles to make learning more exciting.
📌 Intuitive design and layout — Aleksey Kaznadey ensured the book is visually harmonious and easy to navigate.
📌 Music comes to life on the pages — QR codes lead to audio tracks, exercises, and musical games.
How were the illustrations created?
I am not only an illustrator but also a professional musician, so it was important for me to reflect the rhythm, mood, and character of the musical pieces in my drawings.
I love working with musicians, and this project gave me the opportunity to combine musical experience and artistic expression to create a harmonious and immersive book.

I illustrated musical pieces, exercises, and puzzles, aiming to make them clear, expressive, and inspiring. Finding the right balance between vibrant visuals and educational clarity was crucial to ensuring that children could easily absorb the material and stay engaged.

Creating this book was…
🎶 Months of searching for the right artistic style and the best approach.
🎨 Sketching, refining, and balancing illustrations with educational content.
📖 Close collaboration with inspiring musicians and teachers — one of the most valuable aspects of the project.
💡 Creating a book that makes learning music fun and accessible.
This project was both a challenge and an incredible experience. Creating the first children’s music textbook in the Belarusian language means contributing to cultural and musical education. It was a great joy and honor!
